:GENERAL BACKGROUND:
Vocaloid is known best in Japan and slightly became popular in worldwide after the appearance of Hatsune Miku. Thus, the old and new members of Vocaloid started to gain their popularity, and they're welcomed in the public. The company created whoever had the best and unique voice to join the Vocaloid. However, only few of them made it and some of them were failures. Soon, the members in Vocaloid became official and this news effected to other companies, which they would make the same thing.
Two years after Hatsune Miku was born, Hatsune Mikuo created as the first variations of Vocaloid. There're no big differences between them, except Mikuo is a boy without pigtails, and slightly taller and older than Miku. He is also carrying a masculine and lower pitch of Miku's voice. He wears exactly like Miku, except he wears a short pants instead of a skirt. When he was introduced as Vocaloid, he's stated as Miku's bigger brother than a twin. Mikuo hangs around with other Vocaloids just fine, and he's mostly attached to his own sister.
Mikuo slowly had a feeling for Miku, not as a brother. Mikuo didn't want to compare his relationship between Miku like Len and Rin. However, he had a worthy opponent like Kaito, who is charmer than him. Mikuo finally approached Miku by asking how she feels about him, and he only received the same answer every time when he asked. She likes Mikuo as a brother, nothing more than that. It was clear that Miku had a feeling on Kaito secretly and Mikuo accepted his total defeat. During his stay in the group of Vocaloid, more variations or Pitchloids were created. From here, he met Akaito, Luki, Meito and others. They were just like him, gender switch of the originals, and he slowly spaces out from the official Vocaloids.
By the age of eighteen, his appearance changes as a man. He wears grey polo shirt and black long pants, and he's way look smarter than the previous appearance. Mikuo never stopped visiting Miku as a brother, although he's not blood related to her. However, Miku as an icon in music industrial of Japan and so other official Vocaloids, Mikuo had no chance to keep up same level as her. He preferred hanging out with his new mates, jamming at private places or in the club. The more he sticks with them, the less he talks to Miku until several weeks later, he stopped contacting Miku. He believed that it's the best if Kaito and the others could take care of Miku without him.
:PERSONALITY:
Mikuo has multiple personalities, which is set depends on his 'Master'. When he's not needed (or left alone), his A.I. will set automatically to his actual personality, his normal mode. He shares similar personalities with Miku, being cheerful over wonderful things and having fun with others. He is easily to approach despite he is a friendly and sweet type of person. However, his personality isn't copying hundred percent from Miku. He can sing, perform and dance well, but he never performs on world stage and less known in Japan. So his level of stage confidence is slightly lower than Miku.
His expression-wise, he's much more sinister and serious than Len and has a figure of Kaito, but smarter. To sum up, Mikuo is mature compare to Miku. He takes several problems seriously even thought it isn't his matter. He performs with his band mates, and it's clearly shown that he likes to perform indoors. He only has one or two own songs, while other songs mostly taken from original Vocaloid and lower pitch them. Mikuo rarely speaks to the outsiders or asks any companies to publish his songs in an album. His songs only well known in websites instead. Aside of being an indoor performer, he has a habit of eating raw vegetables, especially leek and cucumber. He gives up on cooking, because he prefers the original taste of them which everyone can't handle, except for Miku of course. However, once he's at food court or restaurant, he is aware of his own image and orders salad instead of his favorites.
When comes to romance part, Mikuo's face instantly flushes red. Try to ask him any kind of romance questions, he will turn his head away, sometimes remains silent and blushes. Computer can't lie anyway. Although, he has feelings on Miku not as a brother, but also not an idiot to force her to marry him. His feelings also easily to get twisted when he confronts with someone whom he likes such as Akaito, and sometimes Miku too. To him, other original male Vocaloids and UTAUs are his friends and also as competitors.
Mikuo is very precious person of Pitchloid since he has lower pitch from Miku. Although his voice isn't matured as a man, but he can produce beautiful voice. He has mostly seen around with his friends and rarely seeing him being alone. If he's gone missing, all the members, especially bandmates will look for him. Mikuo is like a golden crown of Pitchloid anyway, hardly to let go. Deep in his heart, he wants to be free without being watched.
:ABILITIES:
Mikuo is a low pitch voice synthesizer program from Miku, and so the rest of VOCALIODs. He has the ability to sing for hours without strain and ability to interface with compatible computers, there's nothing so remarkable about him that people would notice. Mikuo also as a free-roaming "Program" able to jump from any machine that is connected by the Internet. Since his body was made into a robot in real world, he unable use this ability. Try not to beat maths with him, his calculation is perfect. He also stores almost all databases of songs inside his memory.
Mikuo is also as same as ordinary computer, able to change mode. The modes are, Normal mode; being himself, Yandere mode; his rare mode of being possessive to other people, Yaoi mode; his love obsession with, you know... guys, Sleep mode; sets low power for recharge or other word, 'sleep', and Shut Down mode; completely shut down or 'dead'.
